On the right track
Chandini is confident that her choice of films will bring her recognition
The dusky Telugu-Tamil beauty Chandini is excited about Aina Istam Nuvvu which is fast winding up.
She says it is a proper commercial film that will help establish hera place in the industry.
“I did Kalicharan and Kiraak and both did not do well.
From day one of my career I have been very choosy and it has become my
plus point and minus point as well. Out of six films I get to do only
one. Being picky is good but sometimes our calculations go wrong,” says
Chandini.
Chandini is sharing screen space with Keerti Suresh, yesteryear
Malayalam actor Menaka’s daughter and her co-star is Nawin,
Vijayanirmala’s grandson.
She observes, “Aaina Istam Nuvvu is a triangular love story. I
play the character that’s always at home, living in a wealthy family, a
pampered and an innocent girl. Lot of people are saying I look like
Genelia and that is quite a compliment.”
Chandini is quite positive about things falling in place for her now.
Chandini is quite positive about things falling in place for her now.
About her next few projects she reveals, “I am now heading towards the
right track. I have four films in Tamil and the next in Telugu is a
horror comedy Chitram Bhalare Vichitram. Bhanu Prasad who made Prayogam
and won a Nandi is directing it. The script is awesome and I have the
confidence it will be a winner. There is no hero as such and the next is
a Suseendran production, then a Rahul Ravindran film directed by Anju
and one with ‘Premisthe’ Bharat.”
